Okay, coupla things here.
I almost sliced off the tip of my finger while making dinner. That particular finger had just healed from when I did the same thing, with the same damn knife, about three weeks ago. It's hard to type with a big, ol' bandage on your index finger.
Woohoo, another excuse to procrastinate on finishing my SeSa story. I'm so close, really I am.
I want my JC tickets to come in the mail. Now.
I spent the evening meeting with the head of the communications department at the small college that wants me to teach a basic sign language class starting in Jan. It all sounds good, except for the hour drive every Thursday night in the winter. One qualm- it's a Christian college, and he said for adjunct faculty, there may be a statement of faith I have to sign. I don't want that to be a major stumbling block, but there's no way I'm comfortable doing that. No way.
JC, sweetie, I know we all agree- get in the habit of remembering your glasses when you do awards shows.
My mom's liver scan shows the tumors are a little smaller, so the chemo is helping somewhat, but there are pleural nodes that may indicate pulmonary involvement. And the bone mets isn't getting any smaller. Sigh.
My daughter is graduating from theOhio State University this Sunday. that's how they say it, I find it kind of annoying. So we're all going over to Columbus this weekend to party. Two tuitions down, man, one to go. Thank God.
Isn't it nice that I didn't start this post with the disclaimer that I'm not a BSB fan? I enjoyed Oprah, I awwwed in the right places, and I may love Kevin. I'm not a fan in the same way that I'm an NSync fan, but that's mostly for my own protection. Five is enough, I don't need ten of them taking over my life, or at least my imagination. I'm so happy for everyone that they're getting back together, and hope that we can squee over the 'Syncers for the same reason some day. Soon would be good.
