I ended up not going with Lar yesterday to Sharon for the EMS conference. I never said I didn't want to go, but he knew I'd rather not, so he decided I should stay home. Erin was afraid that hurt his feelings - Erin thinks I'm not nice enough to Lar - but that wasn't the case at all. Actually, I think it's because Neville was kind of quiet yesterday, and didn't eat, and Lar didn't want him to have to spend the night with Lois. Like, seriously, I think it was all about the dog.
So Lois and I went to her local high school's spring musical - Lois has a German exchange student and she was so excited to go. It was Singing in the Rain, which they did a nice job on, complete with real rain onstage. Neville spent the evening watching basketball with Lois's husband. Miles was relieved not to have to go to the musical, and he got some Neville therapy time, and everyone was happy. Our big threatened winter storm is so far just rain, although there's snow up where Larry is, and oops, I spoke too soon. It just started to hail, loud enough to wake Nev up. Lovely. I was hoping Lar would make it home before it got messy around here.
Ashley seems to have been applying for jobs everywhere. She got a call yesterday for an interview - to be a dog washer/brusher at PetSmart. They get the dogs ready for the actual groomer. I knew that MLIS degree would come in handy someday. But she thinks it would be better than retail - god, yes - and it's a job. She kills me.
I was just tellinglesasoja how much I love the random incestuousness of fandom. We were talking about Lance and Pete Wentz both being in Jimmy Kimmel's video, but also, Paris Hilton is dating Benji Madden. How ridiculous is that? Jared Padalecki dating Sandy McCoy. Lonnie being K-Fed's bodyguard for the kids. That sort of stuff amuses me no end.
