Happy Birthday,
brighton_girl! Have a fabulous day.
Lois and I went to Falling Water yesterday. Yes, I've lived an hour and a half away from it for 20 years and I've never been. There's another Frank Lloyd Wright house six miles down the road from FW and we went there, too. Amazing. But all that stone and concrete and steel made me nervous. Not very soft, forgiving houses. Slip and fall one time and you'd be dead.
I've been meeting my
mini_nanowrimo daily goals so far, mostly working on SeSa, but I'm finding myself doing it at 11pm. So far the story is a bit disjointed, but I'm not sure what I'm really doing yet, so I just throw out three hundred words a night and see what happens. It's kind of a fun way to do it.
I find myself not only not hating, not caring, but not even able to dredge up any actual interest in, the new livejournal user page. It looks different than it did before. So what? This is seriously what occupies people's thoughts?
I liked last night's SPN well enough. I saw someone else describe it as "flat." That's a good word for it. Not every episode can be all OMFG, DID YOU SEE HOW FABULOUS THAT WAS? It was just fine.
