withdiamonds at 11:20pm on 08/02/2010Lois and Miles and Horace just left. They finally have electricity. I kind of enjoyed having them. It was like a little mini-staycation.
Pittsburgh ended up with 21 inches of snow, and it's been a difficult cleanup, because they don't know where to put all the snow. We're supposed to get 4-8 inches more tomorrow and Wednesday. I'll be interested, if it ever melts, to see how much tree damage we have. The snow was really wet, so it's heavy. It's very dense, in fact, Neville can walk on top of it. We can't get out the front door because there are trees across the sidewalk - I think one tree, and some branches. There's a tree laying on the deck, and one leaning against the back of the house. *pets trees* I hate to lose trees.
