Here's the thing about having my treadmill in a glass-enclosed sunroom - it's great in February, not so much in July, especially since we lost the big tree, which was the main source of shade. So this morning I went to run on the bike path, which is a 3.5 mile spur off the Montour Trail, which goes all the way to Washington, DC. Our local little path joins it at mile 35. Anyway, if I'm not done on the treadmill by 9am, the sun is right on it and I can't use it without having heat stroke.

Ashley is doing a relay this weekend. The Redeye Relay in Bloomington, IN. They run a 50 mile loop twice in 24 hours. I think Ash said they have 6 people on their team. She's doing 4 legs, 5 miles each, except the last one, which is 2.5 miles and happens to be the last leg of the race, so she gets go cross the finish line. It's going to be really hot, so I'm waiting on her texts when she finishes each leg. I think she's mostly running in the middle of the night, though. She did it last year and said it was the most miserable experience of her life and she couldn't wait to do it again. Runners are a little weird, I think.
