Okay, here's a whiny entry for you.

My long run tomorrow is scheduled to be 9 miles. Three today, 9 tomorrow, the weather is gorgeous, no problem.

Except I'm having a colonoscopy on Monday and can only eat clear liquids tomorrow. I'll starve to death if I run 9 miles Sunday morning and then only eat Jello until Monday afternoon. So I thought I'd switch my runs, do 9 today and 3 tomorrow.

Except remember my spider bite? My doctor thinks it's community acquired MRSA, although the cultures aren't back yet. The stupid thing is huge and red and it hurts like a bitch. It's right under my right breast where both my regular and my sports bras rub, and when I ran Thursday it really bothered me and I ended up taking my boob out of the bra and, well, that made the run interesting. So, I covered it with a big bandage, because even a soft t-shirt hurts.

Except I forgot - it doesn't come up very often - that I'm allergic to adhesive, so all that did was make it even more gross. I bought some gauze and paper tape and the allergic reaction has calmed down, so that's good, anyway. My doctor gave me some antibiotics and that's supposed to make it go away.

Except they make me nauseous and I feel like crap.

*sigh*

So I decided not to run at all this weekend and it's making me twitchy. I think it was a legitimate decision, but Ashley is busy at a Ren Fair in Minneapolis and so I couldn't consult with her, and I feel kind of lazy. But it's probably the right thing to do.

So, I'm sitting here feeling like crap and reading Order of the Phoenix to keep up with Mark Reads Harry Potter, while Larry paints our new front doors BRIGHT CHERRY RED and Neville sits in the sun, staring at the grass waiting for a mole to burrow by. Adam is still in bed at 3pm. He has become a creature of the night and I've only seen him for five minutes in the past two days.

I went to the store and stocked up on Jello and apple juice and bullion and popsicles. Tomorrow is going to be a long day, I can tell already. Omg, I'm going to starve to death whether I run or not!!
