My heart bleeded, girl

Wow, people really do lose IQ points the minute they pull their car into a parking lot, especially if there's a grocery store nearby.

And I just got home from the whole bank/drug store/dry cleaners/pet store/grocery store/gas station/car wash routine, to find out that Larry's decided to make Beef Wellington on Christmas Day, so I have to go back out and brave the idiots to find pate. William Sonoma, maybe? There're a couple of specialty markets around, maybe they have it, but they're not any closer than the William Sonoma store.

I think Erin and Ashley are arriving tomorrow, depending on the weather and when they can leave work. I'm trying to plan menus accordingly, as in, do I need a vegan dish or not.

Adam has decided to get lens implants. His vision is so bad Lasik really can't fix it, he'd still have to wear glasses, and he can't see out of his current glasses and his contacts don't really correct it, either. So as a preliminary procedure, he went and had two holes put in his left eye yesterday. The most traumatic part of that seems to have been that Colleen got bored in the waiting room, but, ew. Also, I thought he was spending the money he made in Korea on grad school, but apparently he's spending on this. Larry's freaked out about it for some reason, but I just hope it gives him vision he's happy with.

Okay, off to hunt down pate.
