withdiamonds at 03:12pm on 27/04/2011Erin, Ashley and I got into the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco! I had both of them on the phone this morning at the same time, Ashley dancing around her lab, Erin and I freaking out about the course elevation chart. (Seriously, mile 6 to 7 goes straight up. It looks like a 90 degree angle.)
And now the emails begin, trying to sell me everything Nike's ever made. But that's okay! Tiffany finishers necklaces! San Francisco! I'm excited.
Also, woo hoo for Season 7 SPN! I wasn't ready to say goodbye yet.
Y'all will be happy to know Adam has a plan. He is going to study for and take the GRE, assemble an art portfolio and make 12 hard copies, apply to practically every grad school in the country with a landscape architecture masters program, visit as many of those schools as he can, go to my nephew's wedding in Atlanta with me June 28, have reconstructive surgery on his ears, design and have made an engagement ring using the diamond from my great-grandmother's engagement ring, figure out a romantic way to propose to Colleen, and be in Japan by July 13 to start a year long teaching job. His last day of that job will be Aug. 6, 2012, when he'll come home and start grad school...somewhere.
Bless his heart. I'm exhausted even thinking about it.
