withdiamonds at 10:41pm on 07/05/2011Our friends Paul and Bill came over to dig up and take home some of the ferns we have growing EVERYWHERE in our yard and they ended up staying for dinner. We ordered pizza and I think we went through three bottles of wine. It was great fun. They've been together for 28 years, almost as long as Lar and I, and go to Disney World about as often as we do, so we had lots to talk about. :) It was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. Larry's not the most sociable of people these days, but we had a really good time.
Has anybody read the book "The Help"? I'm reading it right now, and while there are a few problematic issues, wow, I can hardly put it down. I'm interested to see what they do with the movie.
I was mesmerized and enthralled by every minute of last night's SPN. I'm going to need to re-watch it, though, before I can say anything sensible about it.
