My heart bleeded, girl

I just wrote a whole section of my Big Bang that is exactly the story I should be writing for spn_summergen. At least I know I can write that story. Now to do it again, only, you know, differently.

Erin and Nic are in Texas visiting his family and Saturday, he proposed to her. The only surprise about it was the timing, in that we all knew it was coming, just not when. She's very happy and the only problem is that they want to get married next May or June, when Adam is in Japan. If they wait until he comes home in August, Nic, who is a college professor with summers off, will have to go to work instead of on a honeymoon. But Adam can't just pop home for a week two months before his job is scheduled to end for a wedding.

His ears are healing nicely, although his earlobes are not at all the same. One is attached and one isn't. Larry says give the swelling time to go down before getting worked up about it.

I've always liked to count down the days until a big event. And so, just for the record, there are four weeks until Larry leaves and six weeks until Adam leaves.

spnspringfling posting starts today! After some formatting issues and great patience on the part of the mods, I got my story turned in yesterday afternoon. They're going to stay anonymous for the week, but thanks in advance to topaz119 for making mine so much better.
