(no subject)

I worked today, reading a test for a visually impaired person. This one is for a PA certification. We do the second half tomorrow. There was supposed to have been a portable computer screen magnifier on site, so he could see the screen and read for himself, and I was supposed to be the backup, but there was, of course, no magnifier. So I read the test, (try reading medical terminology out loud for 6 hours) but the sample x-rays and EKGs presented a bit of a problem. They promise a magnifier tomorrow, which means I'll be so very bored, but that's okay. I think the kid is going to lodge a complaint, as well he should.

So not only is The Dark Knight Rises filming in Pittsburgh, so is The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which means Hermione Granger Emma Watson is right down the street from me! They're filming it in the 'burb the writer is from, which is out by me, and also at our high school, which I can see from my house. I have not yet seen Hermione Emma, though.

Today is our 32nd wedding anniversary. That just seems ridiculous to me. We're going out to dinner Saturday night to celebrate. Tonight there will be a South Beach chicken recipe which will leave me hungry, and Larry has a cold. \o/ us.
