I'm off to C-bus in a while. Then, tomorrow, it's off to Chicago for the Jones version of "Say Yes to the Dress." I'm still sad Mary can't come to Beatlefest - she's our buffer! Also, I love her and miss her. :(
Adam wrote again. He climbed Mt. Fuji. He said it was hard but he's glad he did it. There's apparently a saying in Japan: Only a fool doesn't climb Mt. Fuji, and only a fool climbs it more than once. Or words to that effect. I'll be very happy when he has the internet in his apt.
The weather here has been not too bad - mostly in the 80s, not the 90s. Humid enough that I haven't bothered straightening my hair. Also, being alone for days at a time, who's going to see it? It's been roughly a month of being alone, and obviously I've been going to Columbus or Larry has been coming here, and I have Lois here to so things with, but still. I'm feeling a little drifty. We'll see, I may need to find something to do. Oh, well, one month down, four years and eleven months to go. Unless he stays longer.
Packing for the 'Fest is weird, because while C-bus and Chicago are hot, spending three days in that Hyatt is like being at the Arctic. It's time for hoodies and jeans and socks.
Okay, time for Neville and I to take a bath. Not together, though. He'd get too much mud in the water.
