From [livejournal.com profile] spnstoryfinders: "No actual Wincest but Sam can have Wincest thoughts/feelings, just don't act on it (a forced attempt is ok but that's all)"

Really? Noncon incest is okay but consensual isn't?

Larry went back to Columbus today. I'm finding I like this situation very much. We had a very nice weekend, and now I get to be alone again. For a couple of days, anyway.

I start teaching again Wednesday night. Once again I have to decide between my favorite book, which is out of print but easily available on Amazon, or something new. Every new book I've tried has been less than satisfactory. Also, I need to remind myself that just because I'm bored with my material doesn't mean people for whom it's new will also be bored. Although Adam says if I'm bored, so are my students. But there's a difference between being bored with the material and bored with how I present it.

Or something.

Wednesday night after class, Lois, Nev and I are heading to Columbus. Then Thursday morning, Lois and I are going to Tennessee to spend a night with my stepdad - okay, spend a night at an adjacent Hampton Inn, we're not that crazy - then we're going to Asheville, NC. Her daughter-in-law's parents have a house in Black Mountain, and Graham, Ann, Lois and I are running in a 5K race in Asheville on Saturday.

Then to the Biltmore on Sunday and back to Pittsburgh on Monday. Nev will still be at Larry's, but I have class on Wednesday, so I'm not going back to C-bus until Thursday or Friday. Then to Oxford on Saturday, probably with Erin, where she and Ashley and I will run in either a 5K or the State to State half marathon, depending on the state of our injuries. Then home on Monday, to stay for a while, I hope.

My shin splints are pretty much healed, I think, although I still feel a twinge when I twist my leg. I haven't run in three weeks, but I think I'll give it a try this evening.

I'm excited beyond words that the fall TV schedule pretty much starts next week. My viewing chart isn't nearly as cool as some of yours are, I'm sure, but, hey, I watch what I watch.

Sunday: The Amazing Race, The Good Wife, whatever football game I'm interested in, and I'll probably give Pan Am a try, since being a stewardess, as they were called back then, was a dream of mine back in the day. The book "Coffee, Tea, or Me" was a big influence in my younger days. :)

Monday: DWTS, Mike and Molly, Castle, and HAWAII FIVE 0 \O/!

Tuesday: Glee, DWTS, Parenthood

Wednesday: The Middle, Modern Family, Criminal Minds, and maybe CSI, since it's a new time slot and Ted Danson is joining the cast. I'm assuming Top Chef will be back on Wednesday at some point.

Thursday: The Big Bang Theory, Bones, Project Runway.

Friday: SUPERNATURAL. Maybe CSI NY.

Saturday: Um, nothing?

Yes, I know, I'm very mainstream. I'm sure I'll watch Top Gear on demand, since I can never remember when it's on, and I'll wait for Rizzoli and Isles, Leverage, and Suits to come back.

Speaking of football, omg, let us NOT speak of the Steelers yesterday. Seven turnovers. SEVEN. Against the fucking Ravens, too. Come on!
