My heart bleeded, girl

My car is being fixed and so I don't have any way to get anywhere. Naturally, I desperately want something with both sugar and chocolate in it. Probably just as well I'm without transportation.

My samdean_otp MiniBang posting date is today. My artist told me yesterday that she's been without internet on and off and so asked for an extension, because she's not ready. I haven't heard anything back from either her or the comm mods about what date we might be posting now. I'm a little disappointed because the story is actually, finally ready to go, and I'd like to post it. Otoh, it was such a struggle to write that I don't even know if it should be let loose on the unsuspecting internets.

I've seen some really nasty commenting back and forth between Cas fans and non-Cas fans today, mostly on blog posts and reviews of SPN 7.02. Here's the thing. As I said to topaz119 yesterday, if people are sad or not sad about the storyline in a show, or angry at what they see as flaws and problems with something they love, I'm totally down with that. But trying to deal with/react to/control fandom factions and reactions is like trying to save the Titanic with a teaspoon. It can't be done. It doesn't matter what the fandom is, and it doesn't matter how much you care. There's a reason another name for fandom is "herding cats."

Yay, new H5O tonight. Speaking of divisive fandoms. ;)

And a new Castle. Which brings me to something I guess I should cut for, in case there's spoilers in my rant.
