withdiamonds at 05:39pm on 27/11/2011I'm still having a lovely holiday weekend. I've been too lazy to post, although I've been reading fic like crazy to day.
Nic's sister left Friday, his parents left Saturday, Lar's sister left Saturday, and Ashley left this morning. As always, Ashley and I had a good time, our own little group of two hidden in the bigger group. We went to see the Muppet movie yesterday, and I loved it. There was one part where I laughed so hard I think I stopped breathing. We went shopping of Friday, just for a little bit, because Ashley started playing with Larry's iPad and instantly forgot all the reasons she didn't need one.
Friday night we all sat down and played the game of Life, which is actually a good way to get to know the future in-laws.
Erin and Nic have been busy today, so it's just been Larry and I. And Neville, of course. It's been nice, but I'm ready to go home. The bed here is killing my shoulder, and the place is so small, with not much for me to do. I've been pacing from room to room - a total of about ten feet - just to move around a bit.
Writing-wise, the same thing happened with mini_nano as does every year - I missed a day or two because of Thanksgiving, so I quit writing completely. My goal tonight, during The Amazing Race/the Steelers-Chiefs game/Leverage, is to write something again. It's not like I don't have plenty of things to work on.
I hope all of you are doing well this weekend.
