There's nothing better to relieve the frustration of recalcitrant Christmas lights than Nsync's Home For Christmas.

There are a couple of pictures under the cuts. Please excuse the sideways-ness of them. I thought it was Scrapbook, but I think it's my phone. Also, they're big.

Every once in a while, Neville gets spooked. He shivers, he cowers, he tries to hide, he watches me like something awful is going to happen. It's not always the dryer that sets him off, but it's been happening lately every time I run the dryer. Poor baby, I have no idea what's going through his mind, but right now he's very anxious and he's trying to hide behind a basket.

It's not really working. )

Lois came over for dinner last night and had not yet watched 7.10, so I had to watch it again.

Larry spent last weekend rhapsodizing about his iPad. He kept saying, "You should try this!" and "It does that!" and I finally had to say, "Sweetheart, I don't have an iPad." He knew that, of course, but then he got a very thoughtful look on his face, even though I said I didn't really need one. I have an iMac, a MacBook and an iPhone, don't really need an iPad.

Today I had to sign for a Fed Ex package from Apple, pretty much the size of an iPad. I guess that's what I'm getting for Christmas. See me not complaining. :)

I'm giving the iMac to Erin and Nic anyway. Since Adam left, it doesn't get used very often. It's a fabulous machine, I just really prefer my laptop. Nic is giving his MacBook to Colleen, because she has an ancient titanium PowerBook. I don't feel quite so decadent, knowing we recycle our Apple products.

And I'm taking my first generation Sony eReader to the half-price book store. Ashley says they'll buy it, even though it doesn't do anything but let you read books.

Here's our tree. It looks pretty much like last year's tree. )
