Just got back from my first sign language class of the semester. I have 8 students, and they seem like we might have fun.
If you're not a hockey fan, (or old), the fact that Jaromir Jagr turned FORTY today probably doesn't freak you out. I remember when he arrived in Pittsburgh as an 18-year old, the first Czech to come to the NHL without having to defect to the West first. He was an adorable kid and a huge fan favorite. He was here for the Cup years, but he didn't leave PGH under the best of circumstances - money, of course. Those years were when I decided I couldn't afford to become that emotionally invested in a sports team ever again. It was devastating when they lost. Anyway, I wish there had been hockey RPF back in the days of Mario Lemieux, Kevin Stevens, Rick Tocchet, Paul Coffey, Ron Francis, Jagr, and Tommy Barrasso. Now that would have been something.
Neville still isn't himself, he's still not eating, but he's getting better. He expressed some interest is my dinner, so that was good.
