My heart bleeded, girl

Everyone is gone and it's just me, Nev, and Lucy again. And Fred, who's been awakened from his looooooong hibernation by this glorious weather. (There are stinging, flying insects buzzing around my door, but I guess that's the price we pay for spring. It always takes me a while to stop flinching every year.)

Anyway, the kids left yesterday and Larry left this morning. We had such a good weekend.

I did have to talk to myself yesterday about the Penguins. They won 11 games in a row, a franchise record. They had to lose sooner or later, and winning streaks too close to the playoffs are dangerously distracting. So it's fine that they lost yesterday. I just wish it hadn't been the damn Flyers. But Sidney's head is still intact, so there's that.

My car had a routine maintenance appointment this morning and I spent the time there (and quite a bit after I got home) being sucked into thefourthvine's hockey RPF post. There was one point when I was laughing so hard at this that I almost choked. I honestly couldn't stop. I think I scared Neville.
