My heart bleeded, girl

Fucking stink bugs. It's not been too bad this year, but for some reason the warm weather is making them more active. They're in my bedroom, and they seem to want to hang out around my side of the bed. If one more of them drops down onto my pillow or my laptop or TOUCHES ME, well, it's not very restful. I saw one flying around a little earlier and now I don't know where it is and just, ick. I know it's better than last year, where there were between five and ten a day all over the place, but I think ZERO would be a good number of stink bugs to be IN MY HOUSE.

Ashley is here and we went to the race expo to pick up our packets for Sunday. We pulled out our bibs and we're like, huh, why is mine white and hers is green? We shrug and go get our tech shirts. And we're like, why did the girl handing them out go to a whole different table for Ashley's? We shrug and move on. It wasn't until tonight when it dawned on Ashley - my bib and shirt say HALF marathon, hers just says marathon. She definitely signed up for the half, not the full, and while she's tempted to give it a try, she's been training to run a half, not a full, so we're going back downtown to the convention center tomorrow to straighten it out. The full and the half courses separate at about mile ten and she doesn't want to be running on the half course with a full bib - she doesn't want anybody to think she wimped out or something.

But I swear, we're like sheep, just nodding and smiling and not even questioning something as obvious as two different bib colors.

Lois came over for dinner and for her and Ashley to plan Erin's shower while I g-chatted with Colleen about what a jerk my son is, and then we watched Supernatural, ( which I thought )
