I'm sitting in the Pittsburgh airport waiting for Adam. It's been almost two years since I sat in this same place waiting for him and Colleen to come home from Korea. I wish...sigh. He was supposed to have been coming home for good this time. I'm glad he found something to do that he thinks will make him happy, I really am, but I miss him being around. I wish he would stay, although I certainly won't tell him that.
The trip to C-bus wasn't a total waste of time, althought the BBQ was. But we had dinner with Erin and Nic and I was able to hand over a few more blank checks for the florist and the bakery and the caterer and the venue and who knows what else. The DJ maybe.
I decided since I'm here at the airport to get them some euros for a wedding present. If we give them dollars Nic will just want to pay their electric bill or something. Euros mean they'll be forced to spend them for fun on their honeymoon.
Okay, well, lets hope Adam remembered what day he was supposed to come home. Last email I got, he thought it was tomorrow. He moved out of his apartment and into a hostel for a few days before moving to his new apartment, so his intenet access has been too sporadic for me to nag him about it.
ETA: He made it.
