Holy crap, Home Ice on Sirius XM has run out of hockey to talk about and is now casting the movie that will someday be made of the current CBA non-negotiations. Seymour Phillip Hoffman as Donald Fehr. Michael Chiklis as...um, the other guy. Bettman's right-hand man. All is lost.
I got mail from the Blue Jackets telling me my season ticket is going to be an electronic card that I'll swipe when I go to each game. There's a whole list of things I can do with it, like exchange tix, etc, but funnily enough, it doesn't tell me how to use it to get a refund when the lockout starts.
Also, they keep urging me to JOIN THE BATTLE. I still think their name is weird. I mean, when I think of Ohio, the last thing that comes to mind is the Civil War.
And the other thing is that it's a shame they got the number 2 pick in the draft instead of number 1, because Nail Yakapov would have made the rest of the team worth watching.
I just love AO3. Every morning (okay, lots of mornings) I wake up to an email telling me about my kudos from the past 24 hours. This morning I had some for my Sid/Geno story, both my Suits stories, and a Justin/JC poplslash story from 2007. It's like a little present waiting for me everyday, and it brightens my mornings considerably.
