The Blue Jackets would like me, as a season ticket holder, to come to a party next Friday where I can:

Skate on the Nationwide Arena ice from 5:30 - 7:30pm
Tour the newly renovated Blue Jackets locker room and new production room
See a demonstration of the new Dispatch Media Center videoboard and new LED boards
Enjoy complimentary coffee and hot chocolate
Bring your own skates, or free skate rental will be available in the OhioHealth Ice Haus

I don't want to be the first to skate on the ice this season. I want the damn PLAYERS to be the first to skate on the ice.

I'm cranky. I had issues with both H50 and SPN this week. I may have spent too many days alone the past week, except for the plumber, the furnace guy, and my ASL class. I'm going to C-bus tomorrow, which will be good for me, I'm sure. I can hang out with people I actually know and like, and who don't care that the NHL is locked out. It's a good thing I'm too lazy to get in the car, or I'd go buy cupcakes.

I'm counting on Project Runway to cheer me up.
