Jackets vs Oilers in the books. The game was great fun. The Jackets played really well, even though they lost 3 to 1. The Oilers are not exactly a bastion of defense, and the shots on goal were 42 CBJ and 14 Oilers. But when those shots are made by the likes of Hall, Eberle, Gagner and Nugent-Hopkins, well, they tend to go in.

Here's how frustrated CBJ fans are after 12 years of futility: the shots were 42 to 14 and the crowd still spent the entire game yelling SHOOT every time the Jackets had the puck.

Larry is going to DC for a meeting tomorrow. He very kindly said Neville and I could stay in "his" house until Tuesday, while Erin and I go to the hockey game tomorrow night.

And now I'm going to ignore the Pens while they lose to the Devils and instead watch the Hawks beat the Preds while I plug away at my J2 Everafter story.
