Sometimes Twitter is so confusing. A hockey writer just tweeted something about "double J yelling OMAHA" and it took me a minute to realize he meant Jaromir Jagr and not Jared and Jensen.
Tonight is the last game of the Blue Jackets' homestand before the Olympics. They swing through California next week, during which time I'm sure they'll be sorry they pissed away points against Buffalo, Carolina, and Ottawa last week. They play Florida tonight, so since they're so good at playing to the level of the competence of their opponents, they'll probably lose. Not that they drive me crazy, or anything. Also, all that posturing by the New York Rangers about trading Ryan Callahan to pressure him into signing before the Olympic break, with Pierre LeBrun tweeting that it might be to the Jackets, is tantalizing, even though it's not going to happen.
The weather is supposed to be a mix of rain and snow tomorrow, so I'm going back to Pgh tonight. The inspection on the house we offered for in C'bus went well yesterday, so things may be getting real. I need to go home and make a million lists. Larry thinks I should go now, but I assured him I know how to drive in the dark. I think mostly he's trying to get out of going to the game.
I won't be able to come back to C'bus for a couple of weeks, and I hate to leave Sebby for that long. But Erin and Nic need to figure their shit out by themselves, and I can always deliver my "it's her body and she doesn't have to breastfeed if she doesn't want to, you don't get a vote" speech to Nic on Facetime if I have to.
