My heart bleeded, girl

I just slid down a flight of stairs. Slipped on the top step and went all the way to the bottom. Luckily, there are only two steps - it's a short flight. :) It was still rather jarring and completely unexpected.

I'm about to head to the airport to fly to Chicago to meet kiffle and hammerhead22 so that we can freeze our asses off watching the Pens and the Hawks play at Soldier Field tomorrow night. I'm very excited. Our Chicago adventures are always fabulous. Also, calm before the storm of moving....

We closed on the Columbus house yesterday. The sellers aren't vacating until March 8th, so I can't go in there and make decisions about what to bring with us.

The movers are going to start packing next Thursday. It's going to take them approximately forever. I have the house as ready as I can get it, I think.

We listed it for sale last week. We've had three showings so far. There are winter storm warnings for the 'Burgh this weekend, so I'm not expecting much else this week.

I'm coming back to C'bus on Sunday and staying here until Tuesday night or Wednesday morning, depending on the weather. I'm getting Erin out of the house Tuesday night with a Jackets game.

Adam tells me his actual wedding is Sept. 14th. Time to look at flights to Tokyo. I hope Erin and Seb are ready for a 17 hour flight. And again, it's my job to liaison with the jeweler in Pittsburgh to have their wedding rings made.

Aaand Larry wants to take me to the airport NOW, three hours early, for a flight I'm already checked into, from a smallish, manageable airport. I guess I'm off!
