withdiamonds at 09:34pm on 11/02/2008Watching the Westminster dog show at MSG. I'm always stunned by some of the outfits the dog handlers wear. Frumpy suits with bedazzled sleeves, always a good look.
Okay, you know there's a wide variety in the kinds of stories written in any fandom, and you know where your mind and heart reside when you read a story summary that says: Sam and Dean save a woman and her baby then get to hold the newborn and the first thought you have is omg, that's the scariest thing I've ever read. And I can only imagine how weird my story summaries would seem to so-called normal people. I guess my point is you're going along your merry way, reading and writing with like-minded people, and it's always a surprise to be reminded there's a whole lot out there that I'm not in touch with at all.
