Happy Valentine's Day to everyone, whether you like it or not. Romantic love isn't the only love there is in the world. You're all loved, in some way, even in an "I love my friendslist" way. It's apparently human nature to pair off, but that doesn't always bring happiness all the time.
Larry is on call tonight, so I cooked him dinner last night and gave him a non-sappy card and let him eat ice cream. He had taken yesterday off and acknowedged that he did indeed have time to at least get me a card, but he didn't think of it. So that's how we celebrated the big day of romance around these parts. And, you know, it was nice.
Whenever we have a late start at work, I don't seem to be able to get there on time. I think it's because my brain tells me to relax, I have lots of extra time. But if I slept two hours longer, I really don't. So, must get going.
