Omg, people, all of a sudden the only podfics that will transfer to my shuffle are mp3s. The ones in AAC format, m4bs, REAL AUDIOBOOKS, won't transfer. Not only that, but I already had one of those on my shuffle, and when I synced it up to add another one, IT TOOK THE EXISTING ONE OFF!! The fuck? They all show up nicely in iTunes in the audiobooks playlist, but they won't transfer. The mp3, which shows up only in the music library, will. It's probably because I updated iTunes again. That's almost never a good idea.
I was trying to add some podfic to my shuffle because we're flying to Phoenix tomorrow to visit Larry's sister for a few days. We're changing planes in Detroit, and then it's a four and a half hour flight to Phoenix, so I wanted something to listen to. I swear...
I know it's because it's February, but even the idea of sunshine and warm weather isn't enough to make me want to get off the couch and go anywhere. Also, Marcia has DIAL-UP. Even my 85 year old stepfather has wireless. Even my 86 year old stepmother has cable. So, we'll be home on Wednesday night. *clings to livejournal* I'm just hoping one of her neighbors has wireless I can hitch a ride on.
Conversely, (related to sitting on the couch) I'm tired and cranky and having trouble sleeping, and Ashley says I'm over-exercising. Because if I'm not on the couch I'm on the treadmill, the bowflex, the bike, or lifting weights and doing yoga. I'm hungry all the time, and I've been eating lots of fruits and vegetables and whole grains, but I don't think I'm eating enough calories to lose weight. Maybe? It's hard to tell, running makes me ravenous, so it's confusing. I have fifteen more pounds to go and they're being very stubborn. Ashley convinced me that maybe I need two rest days a week instead of just one. She could be right. I don't want to over train and hurt myself again.
Okay, was that a whiny enough post for mid-February?
