Title: You want me to act like we've never kissed
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: R
Word count: 25,779
Warnings: None
Artist: [livejournal.com profile] cassiopeia7
Link to art: Here
AO3 Here
Notes: So many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] topaz119. She talked me off the ledge with this thing about ten times since I started it in FEBRUARY. It still wouldn't have an ending if not for her. She made it all so much better. Title is from Patsy Cline's "I Fall to Pieces." Also, the art is so, so fabulous. Don't miss out on any of it.
Summary: Amnesia ahead! It's 2015, and Sam and Dean are settled in a small town in Ohio. They're doing just fine, with only the occasional nightmares about Hell to bother them. There's even a ghost to hunt now and again, and while they're pretty much alone in the world, at least they have each other - until an accident threatens to take even that away.

So, [livejournal.com profile] kiffle said, ""It’s all about Kaner and his mom. I really hope someone writes a story about Segs hitting on her and Kaner flipping out, whining to Jonny." And then this happened. The title (Beatles, Your Mother Should Know) is almost longer than the story. (1186 words)

Hockey RPF, Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Tyler Seguin, Donna Kane.

On some level, some level far, far away that Patrick didn't want to think about, he knew his mom was hot. )
withdiamonds: (Default)
Fandom: Hockey RPF
Pairing: None. This is gen. Outsider POV.
Word count:1689
Notes: This was inspired by [livejournal.com profile] quiet000001, who in a conversation about players going to Europe during the lockout, said, "I am also quite curious as to how much when players go where is actually strategic. Obviously going to play for another team is complicated enough that they can't just write a script, but if all of the big names had bailed at once, that might have made people less supportive of the players, for example." Title from "Hernando's Hideaway."

Summary: It's not like there was a secret Master List and a guy with a burner phone sitting in a hidden location somewhere in Brooklyn making mysterious calls in the middle of the night. "Briere? You're up. Germany. Start packing. And take Giroux with you."

Title: Silence like a cancer grows
Pairing: Sidney Crosby/Evgeny Malkin
Rating: G
Word Count: 2420
Warnings: Not really.
Notes: So this story was inspired by the title. I mean, I heard Simon and Garfunkle's "Sound of Silence," and silence like a cancer grows seemed like an awesome title for a story. However, the story itself doesn't live up to the weight of that title, but no other title seemed right, either. I mean, it's not a bad story, it's just not deep.

Summary: Geno stops talking on a Friday.

Title: That visions are seldom all they seem
Disney Prompt: Sleeping Beauty
Pairing/Gen: Sam/Dean
Rating: PG
Word Count: 5200
Warnings: None. Spoilers through S7.
Summary: An evil fairy curses Dean, and he loses his memory. Only a kiss from his soul mate can awaken him. Featuring Bobby and Cas as Flora and Fauna. (And Meg as an absent Meriweather.)
Notes: My entry for [livejournal.com profile] super_disney. (This is either way more or way less sappy than it sounds, idek.) Thanks as always to [livejournal.com profile] topaz119. Title from "Once Upon a Dream," from the Disney Sleeping Beauty soundtrack. I've been singing that song since I was 8 years old. Which is why I succumbed to the temptation to make the rest of the lyrics section titles, for which I apologize profusely.

Whoa, nothing like making a draft at AO3 to check the word count, accidentally hitting post instead of preview, and then closing the laptop for several hours.

Oops.

Anyway, I guess that means my [livejournal.com profile] picfor1000 story is done and posted. Since tomorrow is the last day of February, I guess that works. I'm certainly changing the title, when I can think of a better one, because this one is just a place-holder.

So.

Title: Sweets for the Sweet
Pairing: Harvey/Mike
Rating: R
Word count: 1000
Summary: Donna's not easily bribed. Harvey is good at turning annoyances into advantages. Mike is uncomfortable. Louis is, well, he's Louis.
Notes: My picture is here. And the story is at AO3 here.

Louis thought these would be enough, Donna said. )

Title: The Whole Kit and Caboodle
Pairing: J2
Word Count: 9500ish
Warnings: None
Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] j2_everafter. Movie: The Apple Dumpling Gang. Thanks as always to [livejournal.com profile] topaz119, especially for listening to me say "Omg, why aren't I writing?" ten times a day.
Summary: Oh, wow, how do I even summarize this. Based on one of the worst movies ever made? I'm afraid this is kid!fic? Jared and Jensen are not Don Knotts and Tim Conway, or even the characters they played in this movie. Thank goodness. Okay, here goes. Forced to stop for a day or two (by the fact that the stagecoach is uncomfortable) on his journey out West, Jensen Ackles finds himself in a small, dusty Nevada town. Passing the time (and trying to win enough money to buy a horse so he never has to take the stagecoach again) with a very lengthy poker game, Jensen soon finds himself in possession (don't ask) of three orphaned children. With the help of the tall, handsome owner of the General Store, (very convenient, since it takes a lot of supplies to wrangle children) Jensen makes a home in Red Gulch. Will he and Jared find a way to save the children from their evil uncle and fall madly in love in the process? (What do you think?)

The explosion was enormous. It didn't just blow the door off the bank vault, no, it blew the door off the actual bank. )
