Title: The Whole Kit and Caboodle
Pairing: J2
Word Count: 9500ish
Warnings: None
Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] j2_everafter. Movie: The Apple Dumpling Gang. Thanks as always to [livejournal.com profile] topaz119, especially for listening to me say "Omg, why aren't I writing?" ten times a day.
Summary: Oh, wow, how do I even summarize this. Based on one of the worst movies ever made? I'm afraid this is kid!fic? Jared and Jensen are not Don Knotts and Tim Conway, or even the characters they played in this movie. Thank goodness. Okay, here goes. Forced to stop for a day or two (by the fact that the stagecoach is uncomfortable) on his journey out West, Jensen Ackles finds himself in a small, dusty Nevada town. Passing the time (and trying to win enough money to buy a horse so he never has to take the stagecoach again) with a very lengthy poker game, Jensen soon finds himself in possession (don't ask) of three orphaned children. With the help of the tall, handsome owner of the General Store, (very convenient, since it takes a lot of supplies to wrangle children) Jensen makes a home in Red Gulch. Will he and Jared find a way to save the children from their evil uncle and fall madly in love in the process? (What do you think?)

The explosion was enormous. It didn't just blow the door off the bank vault, no, it blew the door off the actual bank. )

This is my story for [livejournal.com profile] spn_cinema.

Title: Passing on the Left-hand Side
Movie Prompt: Same Time, Next Year
Pairing: Jared/Jensen, Jensen/JDM, Jared/Chad
Rating: R
Word Count: c.11,000
Summary: Jared and Jensen meet one night and are instantly attracted to each other. But they already have lives, with jobs and families and other people in them and everything. So they agree to go their separate ways and meet up once a year, at the same time, in the same place. This is them, over the years, and it's very much a love story.
Warnings: Infidelity, obviously. That may not be the point of the movie, but it's certainly the premise.
Notes: I've been writing this story since February. Ten months. It was a bear, but I finally wrestled it into some semblance of submission. I've also been whining to [livejournal.com profile] topaz119 about it for that long. If it wasn't for her, it wouldn't be even close to all right. The title is a Matchbox 20 lyric. That's an easy habit to slip back into, and I just keep doing it. The LJ cut text is from the Johnny Mathis theme song from the movie.

And the last time I felt like this, I was falling in love... )

Title: I see great things in baseball
Rating: R
Word Count: 8300
Pairing(: Jensen/Jared
Warnings: None
Prompt Title & Summary: #14 In Bed with the Boss

For three years, Kalera has been a model secretary to Duncan Royal, with only one hiccup in their otherwise perfect relationship: a one-night stand that should never have happened, and which both have tried to forget. Or so Kalera thought.
But Duncan is haunted by their one night of unbelievable passion, and secretly longs for their relationship to develop after office hours. As a rule, he can have any woman he wants—so he's furious when Kalera announces her engagement to another man! Whatever it takes, Duncan intends to entice Kalera into his bed once more—and this time it will be forever.

Summary: For the five years that Jared Padalecki has owned the Albuquerque Isotopes, Jensen Ackles has been his perfect assistant. Two years ago, they had a one-night stand. It was awesome, but they decided business and pleasure really didn't mix and agreed to forget it ever happened. Jared has no clue that he harbors real feelings for Jensen. He merely thinks that he thinks Jensen is hot, but when Jensen announces his intention to marry another man, Jared realizes he's actually in love with Jensen. Now he has to figure out how to convince Jensen that he feels the same.

Author's notes:Okay, I took a real minor league baseball team, the Albuquerque Isotopes – how awesome is that name? – and made up a bunch of lies about it. Or at least about the people who own it, work for it, and play for it. Their mascot really is a 6'5" red alien named Orbit, though. Title from Walt Whitman, on Union soldiers playing baseball during the Civil War. Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] topaz119, who helped me dream this up. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] ebcdic for such a fun challenge.

Title: Did I fall in love (or did I find disaster)
Pairing: Jared/Jensen
Word count: 10,000
Rating: R
Warnings: None
Prompt: Written for [livejournal.com profile] j2_everafter. Chicken Little
Summary: Jensen knows he tends to see the worst-case scenario in every situation. Jared would say that's a bit of an understatement. Jensen doesn't know why nobody ever takes him seriously. Jared thinks it's adorable. And as he says, even a blind pig finds an acorn once in a while.

Author's notes: AU only in the sense that Genevieve and Danneel are absent. In fact, I'm very fussy about my terms and I would call it an AR. I love Gen and Danneel a lot and didn't want to have to treat them badly or deal with them in some angsty, unpleasant way, so I just completely negated their very existence. Set sometime in the beginning of Season 6. I have no idea what episode they're shooting here. A generic Season 6 episode, apparently, but there are some vague spoilers for the first half of the season.

Title from JC Chasez's Build My World, following my recent trend of titles that consist of long-ass sentences, frequently penned by JC, or other members of NSYNC.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] topaz119 and Ashley, both of whom made suggestions that helped a whole lot.
