So last week on his Pop Ten radio show, Lance said his and his mom's relationship still isn't what he'd like it to be. Anyone who's been around this LJ for a while knows how I feel about that and how disappointed I was when I heard what he said. I said what I had to say about it back in 2005, and there's no need to repeat myself, so. Suffice it to say it made me sad.

I saw the last few minutes of "Shadow" on TNT the other morning, and was really struck by something Sam did when he, Dean, and John decided to split up again. He patted John on the shoulder, and Jared infused the gesture with so much love and longing to have his father there again, it was remarkable. You can't tell me there wasn't a lot of love in that family, as fucked up as things were.

Speaking of John, I'd been kicking around the idea of doing the John Winchester/JDM big bang, but decided my spn_j2_bigbang from this summer is pretty much my definitive take on John and there's not much point in trying to do more.

Thank goodness the people of Mississippi showed some common sense yesterday. And Ohio.

My first Wednesday night home after 8 weeks of class and the damn CMA awards are on. I wanted to watch Modern Family and Revenge.
