Lois is coming over soon, and we're going to watch "Lucifer Rising" in preparation for tonight. The Steelers are playing their first real game of the season tonight, but what care I about football when Sam and Dean are coming back? There's an NFL kick-off concert here tonight, and Tim McGraw and Fergie have been all over my TV. Will.I.AM., too, but I'm trying to ignore him. Ever since he put the words "feminine gelatin" somewhere on FutureSex/LoveSounds, that's what I try to do. "Let's get retarded" isn't my favorite lyric, either.

whenthewarsover story for today. That's okay, I love it and am going to take my time and finish it right. I may have deadline fatigue. I finished by the deadline four times out of five these past four months, I think that's pretty good.
I got my remixed Beatles CDs today. I ordered the mono set, which includes all the Parlaphone albums except Let It Be and Abby Road. I went with mono because that's how the Beatles first recorded them. I'll pick up the other two in stereo later. I love the packaging, which mimics everything about the original vinyl releases and feeds my love for all things miniature. And omg, the sound. Their voices are incredible, just incredible. Very happy-making.
