withdiamonds at 11:45pm on 18/12/2009The stress test this morning was a bit of a pain, but only because a) I had to drive an hour in rush hour traffic to get there, b) I couldn't eat or drink until it was over, c) It took almost four hours, and d) I did it all without coffee!
Results on Monday. The nurse was worried that insurance won't pay for it because I have no symptoms and she wasn't sure "family history" will be enough. We'll see.
My cardiologist told me he ran a marathon with a stress fracture in his shin and then couldn't run again for ten months. He just kept shaking his head. Very helpful.
Looking at the weather maps, it seems Pittsburgh should get off pretty easy as far as the storm this weekend. The timing truly sucks, and I feel bad for all the people whose holiday plans are fucked up.
Awww, Joey and Kelly Fatone are having another baby. I hope that makes them happy.
I got a Christmas card from Adam and Colleen today. He wrote a very nice note and seems to actually miss us, and miss being here for Christmas. I'm not sure he's ever missed me before when he's been away from home. Not that he's ever admitted, anyway. Well, except for that first week of his European adventure in 2004, when British customs detained him because they thought he didn't have any money, and some kids in Brussels knocked him down and stole his ipod. Poor baby.
Wow, Say Yes to the Dress had some really unpleasant people and some unfortunate family dynamics tonight.
