My heart bleeded, girl

Am in C'bus. Ashley was here, too. We had dinner with Erin and Nic last night, then this morning Ashley and I ran a local Snowflake 5K. It was 19 degrees, but it was a 9am start and the sun was out and we got to wait inside a rec center with a REAL BATHROOM and so it was just right. I wasn't cold running at all. It's amazing what a difference not having to stand around and shiver an hour before the race starts makes. Your energy reserves haven't been depleted by the shivering and you can feel your feet and everything.

Then Ash and Larry and I went out for pancakes and Ash just left for home. Erin and Nic are putting up their tree today and I think I'm supposed to help decorate it.

I hope everyone else is having as nice a weekend as I am.
