withdiamonds at 09:02pm on 22/06/2012Today was the longest day in the history of the world. Left C'bus at 5:30 am, and met Ash at the Dayton airport at 7. We flew to Chicago, where our flight to LA was delayed 3 hours, then after we boarded, they had to fix a "leak in the tail," whatever that means. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they fixed it, but still. I hate United.
Spent 45 minutes at LAX waiting for the shuttle, because everyone in the airport was a librarian going to Anaheim. An hour's drive and holy fuck, we're finally at the hotel. We got Ash registered, ate dinner, and now she's at meeting while I'm thinking about bed.
Not happy with the news out of Pittsburgh regarding the NHL draft. I'm not surprised the Pens traded JStaal, but I'm not happy about it. I mean, I hope he and Eric are very happy together.
