No, seriously.
I know I overreacted the other day when I stubbed my toe getting out of the shower. It hurt, it turned purple, it was fine in two days.
This evening I jammed my foot into the couch and the toe next to the previously hurt one is now completely purple.
I never, ever do that. My mother used to walk into the furniture all the time. She had many broken toes over the years, and Dad used to give her a hard time for walking around barefoot. But it's not something I've done, ever.
And now I've done it twice in two weeks. *sigh* I already know I'm not going to keep my awesome shoes on for the entire wedding and reception next Saturday. For one thing, they make me about six inches taller than Larry, who seems to be getting more hunchbacked with every surgery he does. But I do want to wear them for a little while!
Also, am I the only person who will be happy not to have to watch Debbie Phelps in the stands anymore after tomorrow night?
